Microsoft Outlook Integration
With VTC plug-in for Outlook you can easily integrate your MS Outlook data into VTC.
Following functions are available in the current version:

E-mails syncronize with the CRM system
Each e-mail, sent or received, can be synchronized and attached to the relevant contact in vtiger.
You can edit the e-mail prior to synchronization, and only transfer part of the message to the CRM. Attachments are listed under the Attachments tab, and transferred to the CRM.
The CRM system will automatically search for existing contacts. A manual or a wildcard search can also be conducted to find the appropriate contact. ?
After successful transmission of the e-mail, you can find it in the detail view of the relevant contact, including the attachments.
Synchronize calendar entry
Calendar entries are compared between Outlook and vtiger CRM and tranfered from one system to the other during synchronization, as required.
Those calendar entries in Outlook that are meant to be synchronized, should be assigned to a dedicated category.
Please refer to the Outlook documentation, for details on how to assign categories in Outlook.
You can set the plug-in to prompt you in case of conflicts, so you can manually select and save the correct information.
Sync contacts
While synchronizing contact data, all customer-specific data will be compared between Outlook and vtiger CRM, and transferred from one system to the other as needed.
All the contacts in Outlook intended to be synchronized, should have a dedicated category assigned to them.
Please look at the Outlook documentation for details concerning the use of this feature.
In case of conflicts you will be prompted to manually select the valid dataset.
Synchronize tasks
Tasks are compaired between Outlook and vtiger CRM and transfered from one system to the other as required.
All Outlook tasks meant to be synchronized, should have a separate category assigned to them.
Please see the Outlook documentation for details concerning the use of this feature.
In addition you can set the software to be prompted in case of conflicts, so you can manually select which of the records you would like to keep or replace.
