VTC and Standard Addons for vtiger CRM

Since VTC is based on vtiger CRM, most standard add-ons are also suitable for VTC.

Following are the standard add-ons currently available for vtiger CRM:

Customer Portal

The vtiger Customer Portal is an add-on package for vtiger CRM.

You can host the Customer Portal package on your website and offer your customers access to the FAQ database, allow them to create and submit trouble tickets and/or to view their invoices, quotes, products, services, and other documents related to their account.

The Customer Portal does not only show the modules mentioned above, but also displays the custom fields and custom blocks that you may have created for those modules in the vTiger CRM.

The administrator can control the fields that he wants to show in the Customer Portal. This is done with an extension module in vtiger CRM, called Customer Portal, which will allows you to rearrange the order of the tabs, enable/disable tabs, and select the users whose profile will be used to control the fields that will be shown in the portal.

Web-based forms

Data from web-forms can be transfered and stored directly into the database, and used to generate leads. 

 

CTI Integration

An Asterisk Server (www.asterisk.org) based CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) can be integrated into vtiger CRM. Telephone numbers from leads, contacts etc. can be dialed directly via web-link.

In addition, incoming phone calls can be directly added into vtiger CRM, thus you can keep a complete history of all incoming and outgoing calls.

Integration of TYPO3

Different Solutions have developed a new extension, based on an existing TYPO3 extension, which allows for data entered into web-forms on a TYPO3 webpage to be transfered and saved directly into the vTiger database. Leads are generated automatically and are instantly available for further processing.

Another feature this plug-in offers is the import of existing inquiries / leads, for further processing in vtiger CRM.
